CorSera: Ancelotti has told Maldini Real Madrid won’t be signing a Milan forward this summer

By Euan Burns -

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear to Paolo Maldini that he will not be trying to sign AC Milan forward Rafael Leao this summer, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News) today, Milan fans can rest assured that the Spanish and European champions will not be trying to prise Leao away from them any time soon.

Ancelotti and Milan technical director Maldini are long-term friends from their shared time with the Rossoneri. The Italian coach has reassured his friend that Real Madrid are not prioritising a move for Leao.

This makes it easier for Milan to fill out their primary objective which is to tie him down to a new contract as soon as possible.

Milan’s latest offer for the player is a €4.5 million salary but it is thought the player and his entourage may want more than that.

Maldini and Frederic Massara also need their own deals extended first.

  1. It was a BS story anyway and everyone knew it. No idea why confirmation was needed that a crock of sh*t is in fact just that, a crock of sh*t.

  2. Yeah but City and psg can do. I didn’t believed the real rumours anyway. But if he doesn’t renew this summer we are fucked
