Atalanta vs. AC Milan: Official line-up – Pioli starts Leao in place of Piatek

By Isak Möller -

With less than an hour to go until the kick-off of Atalanta-Milan, Stefano Pioli has revealed the starting eleven for the game. As opposed to what the reports suggested, he will make more than just one change.

Theo Hernandez is serving a one-game ban, having received his fifth yellow card of the season against Sassuolo. Given how important he has been as of late, it’s certainly a blow for the Rossoneri, who will have to rely on Ricardo Rodriguez instead.

However, as mentioned, this isn’t the only change. Pioli has also decided to play Rafael Leao from start, thus sending Kris Piatek to the bench. Hitting the woodwork twice against Sassuolo, the youngster will be hungry for goals.

Hopefully, they can bounce back from the goalless draw and grab all three points this morning. As the Christmas break will start right after, it will be important to finish on a strong note.
