It looks like Milan Badelj won’t be a Fiorentina player forever, not if his agent has anything to say about it.

“I’ll be clear: we have no intention of asking the Viola for a new deal,” Dejan Joksimovic told FirenzeViola.it, “Which means that Badelj will leave Florence either at the end of this season, or the one after.

“Milan is a good person, but I think it’s normal for any worker, and especially for a player who will soon turn 28, to aim for the best results, and earn as much as possible.”

Fiorentina have been shaving their squad down of late, and don’t seem to present the same Champions League threat as they did a year ago.

“Some very big offers have refused. Yes, Milan made an offer, but not just them, Fiorentina also rejected a German club and an English one.”
