Bakayoko and Kessie sent to Sporting Judge

By Anthony Torgrude -

AC Milan defeated Lazio 1-0 on Saturday thanks to a Kessie penalty. Bakayoko and Acerbi had traded words leading up to the game as well as after it. Bakayoko swapped jerseys with the Lazio defender after the match and presented the shirt as a trophy to the Milan Ultras.

Acerbi had stated in an interview that all Lazio players were better than all Milan players. Bakayoko tweeted to him “Okay Acerbi see you on Saturday”.  After Kessie scored the penalty, Milan held on to the lead and finished the game on top.

Once the final whistle blew a brawl broke out between the two teams and their staff. As a sign of peace Acerbi offered to swap shirts with Timoe. Both him and Kessie held the shirt up to the ultras afterwards and are now being sent to the sporting judge for their actions according to ANSA.

A punishment has yet to be handed out, however, it does seem odd that this gets called for punishment just weeks after racist chants towards Moise Kean of Juventus go unaddressed.
