Juventus are reportedly closing in on an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over Randal Kolo Muani, which could potentially push AC Milan target Dusan Vlahovic towards an exit.

Earlier today, it was reported that Milan’s pursuit of Conrad Harder had hit a significant stalemate, with the player still considering other clubs and Sporting Lisbon refusing to give the green light. Subsequently, Dusan Vlahovic was named as the new No.1 target for the attack.

However, the financial aspect of the Vlahovic signing has always held Milan back, with CEO Giorgio Furlani wary of the spending. Nevertheless, there are only a few days left of the mercato and there could soon be an opening for Vlahovic.

Milan must make a decision

As reported by Matteo Moretto, Juventus and PSG are now ‘close’ to reaching an agreement over Randal Kolo Muani. The deal is expected to be a €5m paid loan with an obligation to buy at €55m, with the clubs in ‘close contact’ to get everything over the line.

Considering that Juventus also have Jonathan David and Arkadiusz Milik within their ranks, they will hardly push to keep Vlahovic after Muani’s arrival. In fact, they will probably be eager to part ways with the Serbian as he earns €12m per season.

All of this means that the ball is in Milan’s court. They must decide whether to make a serious attempt for Vlahovic or not, knowing that a salary of €6-7m per year plus a transfer fee of €15-20m would be needed.

  1. Getting a striker like Vlahovic for 15-20 m transfer fee on a 6-7 mil a year salary is a bargain deal in todays market.
    It’s a no-brainer.

    1. Vlahovic wants Juve to pay for the rest of his contract because Milan won´t pay a signing fee. I think chances are below 50% that Vlahovic comes to Milan, unless he´s prepared to drop a lot of money.

      1. Seriously, how did you come up with this now? Milan won’t pay a sign on fee? Source? Is it you Tare?

You keep writing how Juventus is in a problem and they just agreed on a 60M deal for Kolo Muani. They will go bankrupt, right?

    2. Absolutely not. Dusan is a former player TBH. And I would not pay a single dime to Juventus when they need to dump him one way or another

      1. Former player?
He scored 17 goals for Juventus last season. Only player at Milan that had that many goals was Pulisic, but he played a 1000 more minutes than Vlahovic.
        Former player!!!😂
He is younger than Pulisic and Leao.

        1. Yep. And he scored that in the league.

Maybe no more gambling on unknowns and sign a player that actually knows the league already?

  2. Another thought came to mind. We need to sign a striker who knows this league. Vlahovic obviously does. He also knows pressure of a top team.

A striker from the Belgium league does not.

The only luck we had from another league was Giroud. And the Premier League is top tier.

No more gambling. Vlahovic knows other players in this league already. Scored 17 goals last season.

  3. “Every day we hear Vlahovic has opened the door to an exit, followed by no he hasn’t, then back again.

Vlahovic would be prepared to join Milan for Max Allegri, but if the CEO or intermediary Busardò want to seek other alternatives without getting fully into this negotiation, then we’re talking about nothing concrete.

What we have been able to recognise now is that Allegri’s ideas and requests are not always at the top of the list of priorities for those who make the transfer decisions at Milan.

We’ll see how it plays out.”

  4. Whoever that comes, it might be a tad too late. With no preseason to gel the strike force, Milan will not be at top form until sometime. Points will be lost

Poor management planning is root cause of Milan decline.
