Bennacer and Duarte set for AC Milan debut

By Isak Möller -

On Saturday evening, AC Milan will play their last friendly game of the pre-season tour, as the start of the season is around the corner. Therefore, Giampaolo will have one last chance to test the players.

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the manager could decide to field the two new signings, Bennacer and Duarte, on Saturday against Cesena.

The Brazilian has been training with the team since last week, while Bennacer took part in his first training session with the team today. Either way, both are expected to make an appearance ahead of the Serie A opener next week.

With that said, Giampaolo will most likely opt for other players for the game against Udinese, as Musacchio and Biglia have played a majority of the pre-season games in those positions.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are working day and night on the transfer market to complete the squad, eyeing a move for Angel Correa. Furthermore, they are looking to sell Andre Silva and Laxalt.
