Berlusconi meets protesters outside villa in Arcore

By Oliver Fisher -

Milanisti have once again voiced their displeasure at the state of Milan, this time by protesting outside the villa of president Silvio Berlusconi.

The length of time that the takeover by the Chinese consortium has taken, couple with the lack of mercato progress, has meant that supporters have been left angry and frustrated.

A group of about 200 Milan fans marched to Berlusconi’s residence in Arcore yesterday, brandishing banners reading ‘That’s enough!’ and ‘Who are the Chinese buyers?’

Three representatives from the group were invited into the villa to discuss their problems, so the atmosphere was not as ugly as it could have been.

Berlusconi allegedly confirmed his desire to sell the club in this discussion with the group, but outlined the complications related to transferring outside of China.

Adriano Galliani was once again the subject of protests, with the group demanding his departure from the club.
