Milan delivered another professional performance on Sunday evening as they beat Sampdoria 1-0 to put themselves in joint sixth place.
Jack Bonaventura, who scored the only goal of the game insists that the rossoneri are a team now and the atmosphere in the dressing room is better than ever.
“We are happy, we’re doing well and there’s a great atmosphere within the team,” the midfielder told Mediaset Premium .
“We must continue like this. It was a good performance this evening, though perhaps we could’ve killed it off earlier. We’re in good shape and the results are coming.
“I’m happy for the goal, but the whole team is moving in sync now. We are a team now with a good mix and you can tell.”
Unbeaten in their last 10 games, Gattuso’s men are now only 7 points away from Inter as their rivals collapsed yet again last Saturday against Genoa.
“If we play like this, we can catch Inter in the table, even if we lost a lot of ground early on.”
