Brahim Diaz and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are both currently on international duty, with Spain and Sweden respectively, and their paths will cross this evening. In fact, the two are fighting for the first spot in Group B.
While Spain got the job done in their last game, beating Greece by one goal to nil, Sweden failed miserably as they lost against Georgia by two goals to nil. This means that tonight’s clash will be decisive for the first spot in the group.
For Spain, it would be enough with a draw while Sweden need to win in order to leapfrog Luis Enrique’s men. Diaz probably won’t play from start and the same can be said for Ibrahimovic, who played the full game against Georgia.
The game is scheduled for 20:45 CET and it should indeed be a very interesting encounter between two good teams. Spain are the favourites, though, there is little doubt about that.
