Brocchi: “Today we took a step back”

Cristian Brocchi spoke to the press after his first defeat as Milan head coach in three games.

Speaking in relation to the performance, Coach Brocchi was not happy with the way the side played.

“Today we took a step back, the team was divided and Did not work as a group, which never ends up well. I take responsibility, I represent this group. I will try to use my character to make the team better”

Giampaolo Pazzini’s penalty drew the hosts level, then a last minute free kick from Luca Siligardi won it at the death.

“I’ve only worked 13 hours with these guys, who are involved in the work but the words carried them away.”

“It seems to me that the only goal of the team is the Coppa Italia, where they could have a chance to improve themselves.”

Hellas racked up just their fourth win of the season, adding to the point they got at San Siro earlier in the campaign.

“Hellas showed Great character not to give up. I think the key for us is to improve our game mentally”

Milan’s next game is a home match against another relegation candidate in Frosinone.

“Sixth place is still possible, we have to win our remaining games Which would be a good achievement”
