Franck Kessie’s contract with AC Milan will expire next summer and in the negotiations with the club, he has been asking for a very high salary. His performances on the pitch, however, suggest he shouldn’t get near that.
The midfielder has struggled big-time at the start of this season. Last time out, in the crucial Champions League game against Atletico Madrid, he was sent off after just 29 minutes. Two sloppy yellow cards were all it took to ruin the game for Milan.
Speaking live on Bobo Vieri’s Twitch channel, BoboTV, Antonio Cassano (via MilanNews) shared his thoughts on Kessie and the renewal situation. He made it clear that the midfielder must step up his game.
“They put Atletico Madrid under, the result could have been even better (in Milan’s favour). Then the decisions of the referee and VAR were scandalous, but Kessie can’t do certain things. Forget the red card, I don’t know what problem he really has, it’s not the Kessie I respect.
“I used to put him at Bayern, PSG but this isn’t Kessie. I tell the player and Milan, find a solution that works for both. This is his distant cousin, if he hadn’t done these things, Milan would’ve won against Atletico. He plays badly in terms of concepts and attitudes,” he concluded.
Milan will take on Atalanta tomorrow evening and Kessie is expected to play from the first minute. He will have to show that he deserves a high-salary renewal as doubts have indeed started to creep in lately.

Sell him fast.
He is that terrible
If I were Kessie, I wouldn’t want to remain at Milan after all this treatment…the man has earned the right to consider his options, thanks to all the hard work he put in for Milan. I have read posts on social media where Milan fans are racially abusing him now.
Kessie if I were you, I would just go elsewhere. Real Madrid wants you, ManU wants you, PSG wants you…take your tenacity to them. Milan fans clearly have no regard for all the territory you cover on the field. When they see you playing for another team, they will see it then.
Nobody deserves to be racially abused.
You speak with your forehead, but get this right no Milan fans has ever insults kessie even the curva sud had not responded to him despite all the disrespectful behavior towards the management on the contract issue.Despite the empty promises he made after the Olympics. Milan fans remain calm and patience with him.Let me refresh your memory on the issue of racism,it was not Milan fans that racially abused him but it was Lazio fans and Milan filed a legal punishment on that.go and make research before talking nonsense on matters that doesn’t concern you.after all we Milan fan never invited you here….
You are not even a milan fans. Merda Neo per sempre
I think so or maybe something is wrong with him
