CM: Crotone join Parma in pursuit of Milan youngster – loan deal possible

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have just one game left of the season and the directors have already started planning for the next one. As Stefano Pioli will stay, the biggest changes will take place in the squad amid the transfer window in September.

Matteo Gabbia is one of the players that faces an uncertain future with the Rossoneri. As Alessio Romagnoli, Mateo Musacchio and Leo Duarte are injured, the youngster has played the last few games from the first minute.

Although he hasn’t been bad, it’s clear that Milan will focus on Romagnoli and Simon Kjaer for next season. They might even bring in a new centre-back, which would limit Gabbia’s chances of playing. A loan could, therefore, do the 20-year-old good.

According to Calciomercato.com, Crotone have recently expressed an interest in signing the defender on loan. Parma have been following Gabbia for quite some time and will also open talks with Milan after the season.
