AC Milan are looking for a midfielder on the market and earlier today, several outlets reported that they are interested in Roma’s Jordan Veretoiut. However, denials have now arrived on that front.
Since the departure of Franck Kessie was confirmed, Milan have been looking for a midfielder on the market. Renato Sanches was the primary target for a very long time and that operation is still alive, but the road is significantly more uphill.
Earlier today, both FootMercato and Mediaset that the Rossoneri’s interest in Roma man Veretout has gathered steam and that he could be the new primary target for the midfield. However, denials have already arrived on this front.
According to Daniele Longo, Veretout is not part of the Rossoneri’s plans as they have other targets in mind for the midfield. The 29-year-old, instead, is bound to join French side Marseille who are very interested in his services.
