CM: Inter out of race as Milan push to complete Tonali deal in next 48 hours

In addition to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has agreed to renew his contract, Milan are closing in on a few signings that certainly will reinforce the squad. One of them is Sandro Tonali, who reportedly is very close to joining the club.

According to Daniele Longo, contacts will take place between agent Giuseppe Bozzo and Maldini to define the contractual details. There is an agreement in principle for a five-year deal with a salary of a tad more than €2m per year.

Inter asked Tonali for 15 days before proceeding with their interested but the midfielder no longer wants to wait. Therefore, the Nerazzurri is out of the race as the player is pushing for a move to Milan, just one step away.

The Rossoneri could include a percentage on a future resale (between 10-20%) in the deal to convince Brescia. In the next 48-72 hours, per the report, the operation could be completed as the events are proceeding very fast.
