CM: Juventus star has recovered and will be available against Milan

By Isak Möller -

Federico Chiesa has recovered from his muscle injury and will be available against AC Milan, a report claims. This is a huge boost for Juventus, who also have recovered Dusan Vlhaovic.

Chiesa was forced to leave the Italy camp due to the muscle discomfort in his thigh, continuing his recovery at the Juventus training ground. According to Calciomercato.com, the winger has now recovered and will be available against Milan.

As mentioned, Vlahovic has also recovered and the Bianconeri will thus head into the clash in decent shape. Milan, meanwhile, will be without the likes of Mike Maignan, Marco Sportiello, Theo Hernandez and possibly Ruben Loftus-Cheek as well.

Antonio Mirante will be the starting goalkeeper for the Rossoneri, making his first-ever start for the club. He has played many games against Juventus over the years and had a really good one four years ago (see highlights here).

  1. As a natural pessimist, I think this match is shaping up to be a loss. Mirante is GK, we’re playing a 32 year old RB as a LB, Adli is the defensive midfielder, and the options off the bench are limited.
