Milan have done very well this season and their summer transfer strategy will obviously depend on the outcome of the campaign. Having said that, a return to the Champions League seems very close indeed.
According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have every intention to reinforce their squad and especially the right-hand side. The priority remain the right-wing as Samu Castillejo just doesn’t cut it, with Florian Thauvin the main target.
As for the defensive phase, Emerson Royal could be back on Milan’s radar after they tried to sign him in the summer. The Brazilian full-back is currently on loan at Real Betis but will return to Barcelona at the end of the season.
His future is yet to be decided by the Catalan side and the Rossoneri have followed him for quite some time, closely monitoring the situation. Of course, it will depend on Diogo Dalot, who is on loan at Milan from Man Utd.
The Portuguese international has convinced the Milan management in these first months but it remains to be seen what Ole Solskjaer’s intentions are for next season. Either way, a right-hand side overhaul is on the cards.
