As Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn’t exactly getting any younger, turning 40 in October, Milan are scanning the market for a striker that can replace him eventually. A very promising and exciting player has ended up on their list.
According to Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have added Dusan Vlahovic to their list of targets for the summer. The Serbian has scored 12 goals in 27 league appearances this season and has impressed a lot recently.
Fiorentina are very happy with the striker and have proposed a renewal, as the current deal will expire in 2023. However, the parties are far away from each other and as things stand, a renewal remains unlikely for the Serbian international.
On Saturday morning, newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews) confirmed the Rossoneri’s interest in Vlahovic. However, Fiorentina have slapped a €40m price tag on him and it remains to be seen how Milan will overcome that obstacle.
