In addition to their centre-back pursuit, AC Milan are also working on a few renewals as they don’t want to lose their stars for free. Therefore, a few good renewal offers have been made.
Franck Kessie and Alessio Romagnoli’s contracts will expire at the end of the season and Milan are yet to renew their deals. The midfielder looks increasingly likely to leave on a free transfer while the situation remains open for the captain.
Obviously, the situation is far from ideal for Milan and that’s why they want to prevent that from happening again. According to Calciomercato.com, talks are well underway for the renewal of Ismael Bennacer and Theo Hernandez.
The offer made for the midfield is worth €2.5-3m per season, which is a good increase from the €1.5m he currently earns. The new deadline of the contract would be 2026 and it seems an agreement will be struck soon.
As for Hernandez, who has been on fire lately, the offer is €4m plus bonuses that could increase the overall amount to €5m. He also earns €1.5m currently and the renewal would be until 2026 or 2027.
The report adds that contacts are also underway with the agent of Rafael Leao, Jorge Mendes, as Milan are keen on keeping him as well.
