CM: Pioli ponders attacking situation ahead of Crotone clash – the main options

By Isak Möller -

Following the 3-2 win against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League qualifiers, Milan are now gearing up for their second league game of the season. An away trip to Crotone is on the cards and the Rossoneri are hoping for another win.

After testing positive for the Coronavirus, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss this game as well and his return is expected for the Derby. Youngster Lorenzo Colombo replaced him last night and managed to get on the scoresheet, playing well overall.

However, as reported by Calciomercato.com, the 18-year-old could start on the bench against Crotone. Ante Rebic is available (serving a ban in Europa League) and could start up front, while Alexis Saelemaekers would keep his spot on the left-wing.

These are the two main options for Stefano Pioli, who has some work to do with regards to the defence. Luckily, they have continued their good form in the attacking phase and have thus managed to secure the wins.
