CM: The ‘new Lautaro’ dreams of Serie A move – offered to Milan in January

By Isak Möller -

His agent, Ignacio Campos, recently compared him to Lautaro Martinez. Nahuel Bustos is one year younger than the Inter star and still plays in Argentina with the Talleres shirt. Based on the rumours, though, this could soon change.

According to Calciomercato.com, the striker has ended up on the radar of Roma, having registered nine goals and four assists in 20 appearances. There is an €18m clause in Bustos’ contract, but €10m plus bonuses could be enough.

In January, Alessandro Luci’s presence at Casa Milan certainly didn’t go unnoticed, meeting the Rossoneri leadership on multiple occasions. Among other things, Bustos was discussed by the parties.

Through their scouting network, Milan had followed the 21-year-old in various circumstances before the Argentine league stopped. A profile deemed interesting, but more evaluations were needed to make a final decision.

Per the report, Bustos dreams of a move to Serie A and Lucci is acting as an intermediary to make it happen. However, Roma are ahead in the race and it remains to be seen if Milan will accelerate their interest.
