CorSera: Meeting point identified as Milan continue renewal talks with Donnarumma

By Isak Möller -

Gigio Donnarumma’s contract will expire in the summer and Milan are desperately trying to renew his contract. However, negotiating with Mino Raiola is far from easy, certainly delaying the process a bit more.

The goalkeeper has been a key player for the Rossoneri this season, just like previous campaigns, and there’s no doubt that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to lock him down. This is easier said than done, though.

As pointed out by Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), Donnarumma himself has made it clear that he wants to stay at the club. Optimism is thus filtering from the Milan management, in spite of Raiola’s methods in the negotiations.

The meeting point will be found between €7.5m and €8m, as the newspaper states, while the length of the contract could be three years (until 2024). However, until the player has put pen to paper, there is some cause for concern.
