CorSera: Milan not convinced by idea of Pioli-Rangnick coexistence despite recent success

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have won three out of four games since the league was resumed, beating the likes of Lazio and Roma in the process. However, despite his good work, Stefani Pioli is set to leave the club at the end of the season.

As today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera highlights (via MilanNews.it), Pioli’s excellent work is there for all to see. Therefore, some are talking about him staying even with the certain arrival of Ralf Rangnick, who will lead the youth revolution.

In other words, this hypothesis would mean that Rangnick ‘only’ will be a director in the technical area, letting Pioli continue as the manager. However, as the newspaper states, this idea doesn’t convince the Rossoneri management – at least for now.

Milan are now just two points away from Napoli and Roma in fifth place, which would be a great finish for the Rossoneri considering how the season started. Tomorrow, they will take on Juventus and then an away clash against Napoli awaits.
