Report: Milan eye €35m swap deal involving Fiorentina star as first offer is ready

By Isak Möller -

Although the season is still ongoing, and at its most crucial stage, AC Milan are already making plans ahead of the summer transfer window, which has been postponed until September.

According to reports from the newspaper La Nazione, as cited by MilanNews.it, the Rossoneri are ready to present their first offer for Nikola Milenkovic. The Fiorentina star has impressed in the last two seasons and has a price tag of €35m.

La Viola would like to collect as much as possible from the sale of the Serbian, of course, with the player’s contract expiring in 2022. Milan could try to include Lucas Paqueta in the operation, as the Tuscan side have shown their interest in him.

However, it will likely be tough for the clubs to reach an agreement on the valuations, as one has performed a lot better than the other this season. It remains to be seen if Milan will make an offer and if so, what Fiorentina’s reaction will be.
