CorSera: The way Milan lost vs. Spezia is unacceptable – alarm goes off at Milanello

By Isak Möller -

Milan failed to make the most of the situation last night as they lost to Spezia, who completely dominated the game from start to finish. A bad night for Stefani Pioli and his men, who have a lot to think about now.

As Corriere Della Sera describes it (via MilanNews), it’s a real tumble for the Rossoneri who were outplayed by the home side. They suffered from the high line of Spezia and were overwhelmed in midfield, causing many problems.

Not even Zlatan Ibrahimovic, this time, managed to get his teammates out of the tough situation and now the first place is at risk. Sure, it’s important to look at the standings but above all, Pioli’s men will have to evaluate the game first and foremost.

It could just be a one-off, a bad night, but work will have to be put in to avoid a similar result again. The alarm has gone off, there were signs of wear and tear, so the derby will be decisive to understand Milan’s form.
