CorSport: AC Milan have five summer objectives based on UCL qualification

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s leadership has a number of targets based on qualification for next season’s Champions League, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are currently sitting in a healthy position as we enter the business end of the season, having leapfrogged city rivals Inter into third place at the weekend.

According to Wednesday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, getting back into Europe’s elite club competition is crucial for Milan’s summer strategy.

The income would allow Leonardo to pursue numerous objectives, the first of which is redeeming the €35m option to purchase Tiemoué Bakayoko on a permanent deal from Chelsea.

Then, the club will look for a new midfielder, with Sassuolo duo Alfred Duncan and Stefano Sensi currently top of the shopping list.

For the forward department, the wishlist contains names that had already emerged in January: Allan Saint-Maximin of Nice and Gerard Deulofeu of Watford.
