CorSport: €110m trio among four signings Milan are considering for the attack

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are evaluating four possible alternatives to Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa, according to a report.

The Rossoneri have been linked with the Argentine for weeks now, however multiple outlets are reporting that the deal could be completely off.

MilanNews.it‘s Anto Vitiello reported on Friday that Milan are now looking for alternative targets as ‘the operation with Atletico has run aground‘.

According to the latest from il Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), four potential alternatives are currently being considered by Milan’s leadership.

The first name is Gremio star Everton, who is believed to cost €50million, while Memphis Depay of Lyon is also being considered. The Dutchman would cost €40m.

Finally, Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz and Christian Kouame from Genoa are also on the list.

Gianluca Di Marzio told Sky Italia (cited by MilanNews.it) earlier in the week that Everton Soares is an option.

Meanwhile, La Repubblica – as cited by MilanNews.it –  recently stated that the most ‘concrete name’ as a back-up option to Correa is Depay.

Il Secolo XIX (via Calciomercato) suggested on Friday that Kouame is a viable but difficult option as he would cost over €20m.
