AC Milan are beginning to achieve their aim of getting rid of some of the unwanted players in the squad, but they are only part way through the process.
Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) writes that there are many players who are no longer part of the plans of Stefano Pioli and the club. After the departures of Ante Rebic, Junior Messias and the imminent one of Charles De Ketelaere, work is ongoing to find new teams for other players.
The most urgent is Fodè Ballo-Tourè. The departure of the Senegalese full-back – who was left out of the tour in the United States and from all the friendlies of this pre-season – would then see the Rossoneri go for a new deputy to Theo Hernandez. Riccardo Calafiori is still the name at the top of the list.
Other players awaiting new accommodation are Mattia Caldara, Marko Lazetic and Yacine Adli. Lorenzo Colombo could remain in the squad as Olivier Giroud’s deputy, but there are many loan requests and a new spell in Serie A could beckon.
They forgot Origi. For me its the most urgent one, because of his salary. And i dont see, that we integrate him Back in the team, After he wasnt in USA an played no friendly Game.
He should be sent on loan with Milan cover part of his salary, at least…
Or they could donate him to some Serie C club in USA or Canada where he can show his true potential at that category…
Adli is clearly a decent player. Why has he never been given a chance? Did he bang Pioli’s daughter, or something?
Origi is not a tool you can ‘donate’ like your wife… There is a contract between him and Milan unfortunately. He has spent his whole career in Liverpool bench and enjoyed there, so why he should not do it here as well? It was our stupid management fault. Now we have to pay his money or hope he will change his mind
I mean no disrespect, but Florenzi should be on that list. We are good with Calabria and Kalulu at RB. Then we need to get another CB.
Unfortunately Pioli isn’t Adli’s coach. He needs to look elsewhere now. And I would like to see us keep Colombo.
Considering the rules, I think any new additions at this point can only be Italian. Even if you use the loophole of acquiring u21 players, you still have the future staring at you.
I feel bad about Mozart, but we aren’t doing him any favors by holding on to him and pioli not using him. hope he finds a club where he can play.
