AC Milan are hoping to make it four wins in a row in the league when they host Monza at San Siro on Saturday, with Stefano Pioli getting a clearer picture regarding the condition of his squad.
According to what Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) are reporting this morning, Simon Kjaer could return to the squad for the visit of Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani’s side. He has been missing since the win against Empoli due to muscle discomfort.

The Danish centre-back did the full training session with the rest of the squad yesterday and will probably start from the bench, so it is more likely to see him on the pitch or in contention for a starting spot in the match against Dinamo Zagreb when the Rossoneri will also have to do without the suspended Tomori.
Mike Maignan’s 2022 with Milan is likely over after he sustained a new calf injury, meaning Ciprian Tatarusanu will extend his time as the starting goalkeeper, hoping to continue an unbeaten run in the league since he stepped in.
Good news has arrived on Charles De Ketelaere as the Belgian’s fatigue was less than the issues suffered by his team-mates. Yesterday he trained but did not play the training game with the team but today he could make his full return and that would give indications in view of Saturday.
Pioli is tempted to field Junior Messias as the Brazilian has already returned from his two-game absence (he was on the bench for the return match against Chelsea and the win in Verona) but has not yet played a minute. Against Monza it could be the right opportunity to start him.
