Milan are making some moves on the market and the attacking department remains one of their biggest priorities, with a striker, a winger and a playmaker yet to arrive. However, we can be sure that they are working on it.
According to today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), for the right-wing role, Milan have set their sights on Domenico Berardi. They believe that the Sassuolo star has the perfect characteristics for the team and Stefano Pioli likes him as well.
However, the Rossoneri aren’t the only one interested in Berardi, who is currently with the Italy squad at the Euros. Leicester are also keeping tabs on him and could decide to make a move this summer, impressed by his performances with Italy.
Sassuolo’s valuation of the player might be high, but they are open to the inclusion of technical counterparts in the deal. This is partly because Berardi wants to move on in his career and the Neroverdi owe him this for his services over the years.
