AC Milan fans would be forgiven for being a bit more invested than usual for a game between Fiorentina and Monza last night.
While things are not exactly rosy with the Rossoneri, Daniel Maldini provided a reminder of what he can occasionally do when he fired a rocket into the back of the Fiorentina net to put Monza – who he joined on a free over the summer – up by two goals.

Then came the fightback from La Viola, and Yacine Adli made his mark in his first appearance for the club by getting an assist from a corner deep into added time to rescue a point for Raffaele Palladino’s side, the Fiorentina head coach who was facing his former club.

fake news
What is fake in the News. Oga, verify before you says fake news
Happy for them. If it didn’t work out at Milan, no need to keep them on the bench when they could be useful elsewhere. They are young, there careers are at stake.
Funny if their clubs are going to be superior than us, then something’s wrong either the players or the coach.
in American Football u need more muscle/ speed than brain/ skill, Maldini & Adli won’t make it, RLC, Musah, Reinjder, Suckwueze sure they will ..in jeri fc
I’ll always root for these 2.
What world do we live in disrespecting the Maldini name. And yes, he’s a better 10 than RLC.
We have away Maldini for FREE – disgrace. Another brilliant deal by the banker Fulani. Good luck Daniele – I hope he becomes a star. Same with Adli. Both never given an opportunity (Adil in his correct position) – so happy both get a chance to shine elsewhere. Wish them all the success
