Daniel Maldini got on the scoresheet for Spezia last night as they managed to beat Inter by two goals to one. It was the AC Milan loanee’s second goal of the season, having also scored against the Rossoneri.
It’s quite ironic that the only two goals that the attacking midfielder has scored were against Milan and Inter. Nevertheless, his goal last night was crucial for Spezia who did well to fight back even after Inter’s equaliser.
Speaking to DAZN after the game, as cited by SempreMilan.it, Daniel Maldini was asked about the goal and the fact that he has now equalled Paolo’s goalscoring record against Inter. Something the youngster wasn’t aware of.

“I honestly didn’t know, it doesn’t matter that much to me. The important thing was to bring the game home,” he stated.
It remains to be seen if Daniel Maldini will be a part of Milan’s first team next season, or if he will be sent out on loan again. He needs to continue on this path to have a chance, let’s just put it that way.
I don’t think Daniel will be comeback next season.
CDK definitely will get another chance next season and if Milan buy Diaz then it will be hard for Daniel to get playing time.
It’s best if he spend another season at Spezia.
