Di Marzio: Mendes working on AC Milan exit for attacking duo

By MaaxiAngelo -

Di Marzio reported on Thursday night that Milan are closing in on a deal for Angel Correa of Atletico Madrid. However, Cutrone and Silva will likely leave to fund it.

During Thursday night’s Calcio Mercato L’Originale, Gianluca Di Marzio dropped a transfer bomb when he claimed that Milan are closing in on a €55m deal for Atletico Madrid’s Angel Correa.

However, Di Marzio continued to explain that to fund this major move, Patrick Cutrone and André Silva could leave and Jorge Mendes is working on making that happen.

Cutrone, who has mainly been linked to other Serie A teams this summer, is rumoured to be set to join Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League. André Silva is set to join Leonardo Jardim’s Monaco in Ligue 1.

Correa has spent four seasons at Atletico and hasn’t succeeded in breaking into the starting line up. However, he is a player with big talent and a high potential ceiling. Maybe a change of scenery is what he needs to fulfil his potential.
