Di Marzio: Niang to Torino almost complete

By Oliver Fisher -

The final details of M’Baye Niang’s move to Torino are currently being ironed out, with the deal almost complete.

This is according to reliable journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who claims that the Frenchman is now very close to joining Il Toro.

Sky claims a deal has been struck at around €15million for the forward as Milan have lowered their demands.

The move would mean reuniting with former coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who spent the 2015/16 season at the San Siro helm before being sacked and taking over at Torino.

Niang’s future has been in doubt all summer, with conflicting reports suggesting both that he would be sold and that Vincenzo Montella was going to give him more time after an impressive preseason campaign.

The former Genoa loanee spent the second half of last season on loan at Premier League side Watford who decided not to pursue a permanent deal, while reported switches to both Everton and Spartak Moscow collapsed due to the player’s will.

Now though, it appears, Niang will finally say farewell to Milanello.
