Roma are reportedly closing on on two of the players Milan have targeted this summer: Gianluca Mancini and Jordan Veretout.
Gianluca Di Marzio revealed on Monday night’s edition of Calcio Mercato L’Originale that Roma are close to securing an impressive double swoop.
The Giallorossi have offered Veretout a €3m per season contract, which puts them in pole position ahead of Milan.
As for Mancini, Di Marzio states that they are close to completing the signing. He will most likely replace departing Kostas Manolas.
Mancini have been one of many centre-backs Milan have been linked with this summer, along with Manolas, Joachim Andersen, Ozan Kabak and Dejan Lovren.
Speaking of Lovren, Pedrag Mijatovic – an intermediary who works close with Lovren, Modric and Matic’s agent – was at Casa Milan on Monday morning. So far it’s not revealed what he did, but Lovren is a possibility.
