After being named man of the match and winning 1-0 against Barcelona, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma spoke to the media reflecting on the match as well as his relationship with new arrival Pepe Reina.
“The team did well. We never gave up and were good at being in the game until the last moment. We knew that Barcelona would play like that, with a lot of possession, but we held on well,” Donnarumma told the press.
“Reina? Besides being a great colleague, he is a great friend. We are training well together and also joke around a lot and make fun of each other. We really are a good group.
“The US tour went well. We trained very well and are ready for the start of the season,” the youngster concluded.
