From France: AC Milan eye Arsenal star Koscielny

By Oliver Fisher -

According to reports in France via Telefoot, AC Milan are interested in Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny as they continue their squad overhaul ahead of the 2017/18 season.

A wealth of talent has arrived at San Siro already such as the likes of Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Franck Kessie and Andre Silva, with news now of a possible approach for the Premier League star. The French international has been with the Gunners since 2010.

The Rossoneri are searching for more experience to reinforce the back line, with the possibility of youthful trio Musacchio, Alessio Romagnoli and Andrea Conti in the back line next season.

Paletta is moving closer to the exit door, while Cristian Zapata could also leave San Siro this summer.

Even if the Rossoneri can not offer Champions League football immediately, their action on the market shows their project is in full swing.

Calciomercato note that: “The 31-year-old could be looking for a more attractive proposal and long term project than what he sees at Arsenal, and this summer could be the time for a move”.
