According to Radio Galega, Celta Vigo are close to completing the purchase of Samuel Castillejo, who would like to leave AC Milan this summer in order to get more playing time.
The Spanish sided have presented an offer of €11m for the player, and it remains to be seen how the Rossoneri feel about the offer. Castillejo, meanwhile, is ready to accept the offer and thus return to Spain.
Last summer, the Spaniard left Villarreal in a deal that cost the San Siro side €25m including Carlos Bacca. In his first season, he bagged four goals and assisted an additional four. However, after just one year, he could be on his way.
Despite the reports, Castillejo’s agent has made it clear that his client will remain at the club: “If we will listen to offers? Absolutely not. Castillejo is very happy at Milan and he has great motivation ahead of the upcoming season”.
