The two hottest topics in the AC Milan sphere over the last few days have been Charles De Ketelaere and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The latter renewed his contract yesterday and the Belgian is edging closer to the club.
Ibrahimovic’s renewal didn’t exactly come as a surprise to anyone. The agreement has been in place for quite some time and only the official announcement was missing, but now he can focus fully on the recovery.
As for De Ketalaere, things are seemingly heating up. Gazzetta Dello Sport focused on both the playmaker and Ibrahimovic: “Milan pressing. There is an ultimatum of Milan: €32m offer for Club Brugge. Ibrahimovic renews for another year.”
Tuttosport highlighted the Swede’s renewal: “Ibra-Milan 2023. ‘Always hungry for something more, so I feel alive'”.
The same can be said for Corriere Dello Sport but they also added the Bakayoko story: “Another year in red and black. A devil like Ibra, renewal with Milan. The police are wrong: Bakayoko, shocking night.”
