Gallery: ‘Milan field Ibra’, ‘Fewer games, more goals’ – Today’s front pages of Italian papers

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan did really well to beat Torino earlier this week and thus temporarily occupied first place in the standings. Unfortunately, Napoli managed to beat Bologna without any issues, continuing their winning streak in the league.

The Scudetto battle, therefore, continues for the two sides who are seven points clear of Inter in third place. On their front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport highlighted the battle: “The two-man race at the top of the league continues. Milan field Ibra against Mou and in the derby”.

Corriere Dello Sport had a similar headline: “Napoli passes Milan at the top”. Tuttosport decided to focus on an exclusive interview with Alessandro Costacurta instead: “Ibra, at 40 years, fewer games, more goals”.
