Gennaro Gattuso, former AC Milan midfielder, is currently coach of Serie B side Pisa, but has nevertheless found time for an interview with Tiki Taka and Tuttomercatoweb. He spoke about Milan coach Montella, as well as the club’s future.
“Montella? He has great merits on Milan’s revival. He has implemented the youth project that was expected for so long at the club,” Gattuso told Tiki Taka.
“The credit for the coach that I have become goes to both Milan and Carlo Ancelotti, who formed as many other real men. But Carlo is unique.
“Milan’s future? I’m waiting for the closing and hopefully a new life with new mentality. The work of Montella must be appreciated. If the club continues like this and will implement young players, the team can achieve something important,” the former player concluded to Tuttomercatoweb.
