GdS: AC Milan could offload Suso; only one interested club has come forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could look to offload winger Suso either this month or in the summer, a report claims, but there is not an abundance of potential suitors.

The Spaniard has struggled to begin the 2019-20 campaign, amassing a goal and two assists, and put in arguably his worst performance of the season on Monday in the 0-0 draw with Sampdoria, scoring a 4/10 in our player ratings.

Tuttosport reported on Wednesday that the 26-year-old is viewed as more of a problem than a resource for the Diavolo, and the solution could be his departure either in January or in the summer, with Stefano Pioli contemplating a switch to a 4-3-1-2 in the mean time.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – Suso’s future at the San Siro is far from certain. The former Liverpool man could leave either this month or in the summer window, but at the moment there are no offers on the table.

The paper adds that the number of suitors interested has dropped with the player’s levels of performance. Only Sampdoria have come forward but they want to take Suso on loan.
