GdS: AC Milan’s probable line-up for Lazio clash – Biglia, Krunic in

By Nikita Fesyukov -

After securing the first victory of the Stefano Pioli era against Spal on Thursday, AC Milan will be back in action tomorrow evening at the San Siro where they will face Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio side in what could be a breaking point of the season, either in the negative or positive sense.

Coach Pioli made some changes in the midweek Serie A clash, starting Leo Duarte and Samu Castillejo instead of Davide Calabria and Suso and is likely to spring some surprises also in the clash against the high-level opponent, as predicted by Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milannews.it) in their probable line-up for the match.

Gianluigi Donnarumma is the focal point of the team and is probably the player with the strongest position, while in the defence Calabria is set to return to the line-up.

Duarte is predicted to move to the centre-back role, seeing as Musacchio has some physical issues. The two other certainties are captain Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez on the left flank.

The midfield will also seem some changes compared to the Spal match. Lucas Biglia is set to return to the line-up and replace Ismael Bennacer, while Franck Kessie looks set to stay on the bench, with Rade Krunic looking to take his spot in the team.

The attacking trio offers perhaps most stability. Despite being on the bench on Thursday, Suso is a certainty and will start, while the other to players supporting him will be Piatek and Calhanoglu.

Here is the full probable line-up of against Lazio tomorrow:

Milan (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Calabria, Duarte, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Paqueta, Biglia, Krunic; Suso, Piatek, Calhanoglu.
