GdS: American battle emerges as Milan and Roma want €40m Fiorentina man

By Isak Möller -

As Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn’t getting any younger, albeit still performing on the highest level, Milan are looking for a striker in view of the next few years. One of the names on their list is Dusan Vlahovic, a report claims.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), the Rossoneri aren’t the only ones interested in the Serbian. Roma are also keeping tabs on him and would like to make a move already in the summer.

Both clubs, in other words, are studying the right formula to secure Vlahovic as Fiorentina have slapped a price tag of €40m on him. Despite La Viola’s difficulties this season, the striker has been able to perform and this warrants the price.

Fiorentina intend to renew the contract which will expire in 2023, but the interest of Milan and Roma is strong and could result in a sale. It will be a battle between two clubs with American owners, therefore, to strike an agreement with American-owned Fiorentina.
