GdS: Bakayoko is not just an alternative for Milan – he will be able to shine

By Isak Möller -

Tiemoue Bakayoko has returned to AC Milan just two years after he left the club. And this time, he intends to stay at the club for a long time, although the formula is just a loan initially.

While Franck Kessie is out injured, and Yacine Adli is on loan at Bordeaux, Stefano Pioli will be able to make use of Bakayoko. As highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Frenchman is ready to start the adventure immediately.

He knows what it means to play for Milan and last time he was here, he also played in a midfield tandem. In short, it’s a player that Pioli can rely on and it’s also safe to say that he’s needed this season.

Kessie and Bennacer will be at the African cup of nations next year and that will be the perfect opportunity for Bakayoko to shine. Not just as an alternative in the squad, but as a starter alongside the impressive Sandro Tonali.
