GdS: Donnarumma ‘likely’ to part ways with AC Milan; Raiola’s double game

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gigio Donnarumma both face an uncertain future with AC Milan. So what’s their common ground? They are both managed by the agent Mino Raiola, who is notoriously known for getting his way.

As today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport states (via MilanNews.it), the double game involving the two players is open and could go on until the end of the season, especially with regards to the young goalkeeper.

Following the clash between Milan and Juventus, Raiola spoke to the media about his clients at the Rossoneri. Per the newspaper, he confirmed that Ibrahimovic is happy, but also hinted that he could decide to hang his boots at the end of the season.

For Ibrahimovic, there could be a role within the Rossoneri management waiting for him. As always, though, he will have the final say and not Raiola. In the Donnarumma situation, it might be a little bit different.

In fact, it can only be described as a mountain to climb for Zvone Boban and Paolo Maldini. With the contract expiring in 2021, time is running out for the club, who have the ball in their court.

The management will have to analyze the matter well from both an economic and a sporting point of view. The most likely scenario, as the newspaper continues, remains a departure in June.
