GdS: Gattuso considering two possible starting XIs for Juventus clash

AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso is considering two possible starting line-ups for this weekend’s game against Juventus, reports claim.

The Rossoneri have somewhat of an injury crisis once again, with Gianluigi Donnarumma, Suso, Franck Kessie, Andrea Conti and Lucas Paqueta all suffering problems in the last week.

The most interest situation though will be the one surrounding Paqueta, as Gattuso now faces two decisions to make ahead of Saturday’s crucial trip to Turin.

According to Thursday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Suso is almost certain to come back into the fold, however whether it will be in a 4-3-1-2 or a 4-3-3 remains to be seen.

The paper claims that Gattuso could play the Spaniard as a playmaker in behind Krzysztof Piatek and Patrick Cutrone, in the position Paqueta played against Udinese before his injury.

However, there is another solution being considered, as it is possible that Rino reverts to a 4-3-3 formation with Suso in his favoured right-wing position.

In this scenario, the midfield would be Tiemoue Bakayoko, Lucas Biglia and Hakan Calhanoglu, with Samu Castillejo playing on the left-wing and Piatek as the centre-forward.
