GdS: Giampaolo to rely on three players against Genoa

By Isak Möller -

Tonight’s match against Genoa is of great importance for AC Milan, who are in need of three points to bounce back from their negative start to the season. However, it certainly won’t be easy given their recent performances.

Above all, the Rossoneri have struggled to find the back of the net. In six games, only two goals have been scored from open play by Giampaolo’s men, who will need to improve quickly in order to save the job of the former Sampdoria boss.

As Gazzetta Dello Sport writes (via PianetaMilan.com), Giampaolo will rely on three players in particular to get things going: Paqueta, Piatek and Suso. The three have underperformed thus, failing to recreate what we saw last season.

Therefore, according to the report, a signal is expected from the trio this evening. Then again, we will have to see an improvement from the entire team in order to bring home the win.
