Olivier Giroud has only been training with his new teammates since Tuesday, but he could still make his debut for Milan tonight. The No.9 is determined and ready to start his adventure with the club.
As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Frenchman will still need some time to get to know his teammates. As that understanding will increase, the striker will look better on the pitch.
However, that won’t stop him from wearing the red and black shirt for the first time already tonight, as Milan will take on Nice at Allianz Riviera. In other words, Giroud will start his adventure with the club ‘at home’.
The physical tests have revealed that the striker is in great shape despite just ending his vacation, which is a very positive sign. You can certainly understand why Stefano Pioli decided to include him in the squad.
