Milan have made no secret of their interest in Angel Correa from Atletico Madrid. The deal is reportedly close one day then far apart the next. Now it seems a final push from Maldini is on the cards, but that isn’t the only move being discussed.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Maldini will be in Madrid next week to meet with both Atletico and Real Madrid. During the meeting with Atletico the expected discussion will be around closing Correa.
As with Real Madrid, names have circulated all mercato long regarding mystery men, including Luca Modric. Gazzetta dello Sport believes the player in question is Mariano Diaz, who is out of sorts with the club for forcing him to relinquish his number seven shirt for Hazard.
The player has been proposed to Milan and, while no fee has been established, he is believed to be a realistic option at a feasible price tag.
