GdS: Milan accelerate talks over top goalscorer as several clubs lurk – the situation

By Isak Möller -

Since the start of the year, Ante Rebic has been one of the best players for AC Milan, bagging nine goals in eleven leagues games. Therefore, it doesn’t come as a surprise that several clubs are monitoring his situation.

As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Milanlive.it), the Croatian’s performances have attracted the interest of several clubs. That’s why Milan are ready to accelerate the talks with Eintracht Frankfurt for a permanent deal.

The goal is to sign the striker permanently and do it as soon as possible, taking advantage of the fact that Frankfurt want to keep Andre Silva. The Portuguese striker joined the German side on the same formula Rebic left: a two-year dry loan.

Furthermore, the 26-year-old is very keen on staying at the club, where he has excelled and thrived in the last six months. As far as the price tag goes, Milan will probably have to pay around €30m, though Andre Silva’s value is roughly the same.

  1. We need cover at central defense and right back! But most of all, we need goal scoring attacking midfielders more then wingers, like Szobozslai, Rodriguez and Zaracho! And if Ibra is leaving us, we must bring Gaich to be his replacement as target striker!
